Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily domestic and international road freight operations
• Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with subcontracted carriers
• Monitor transport schedules, handle operational issues, and ensure service quality
• Track market trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics in the Hungarian and EU freight markets
• Maintain accurate data in transport management and internal systems
• Collaborate closely with other departments to improve efficiency and service levels

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in road freight forwarding or transport operations
• Strong knowledge of the Hungarian road freight market
• Established network of Hungarian carriers – strong advantage
• Experience preparing and managing freight tenders
• Confident use of MS Office and logistics / TMS systems
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in Hungarian and English

• Assist in managing the client portfolio and generated leads.
• Support the identification of business opportunities in road transport operations.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and follow up on offers.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of road transport services.
• Maintain contact with clients and assist in resolving issues.
• Support market research and sales strategy implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar.
• 1–2 years of experience in inside sales or client support, ideally in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Basic knowledge of road transport operations is a plus.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.
• Intermediate English (written and spoken) required; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
